Scientific Contribution for semiotics for users mental models assessment

We propose to ground this framework in the computational philosophy domain by using semiotic notions (which cover representation and interpretation) in line with interdisciplinary elements describing explanation and understanding.
Then we explain how we applied and tested this framework on a real use case using experts feedbacks from both end-users and developers of an operational XAI System.
Finally, we discuss our results and associated recommendations.
